Data Warehousing Engineer

Responsibilities
• Develop Business Objects reports and dashboard solutions for a wide variety of business intelligence projects and write functional and technical specs
• Manage the incident tickets/ JIRA tickets to fix issues with existing reports.
• Solid technical background and experience in reporting, Business Intelligence, MIS applications
• Understand and implement solutions in support of physical data models necessary to support business intelligence reporting initiatives
• Design, develop, test, and support Oracle stored procedures, functions
• Define and design the universe, BI Dashboards and reports
• Develop, Support and improve existing BO systems including both Universe and Reports
• Responsible for documenting modifications of pre-existing development new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer
• Strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience, while working under pressure with urgency, with an ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business.
• Communicate directly with team members to confirm requirements and clarify business rules
• You will have experience in the financial services industry.
• You can work effectively under pressure as well as take on new challenges and develop new skills.
• You will have an excellent understanding of supporting and communicating with clients at all levels.
• You will have experience of working with Change Management tools such as ServiceNow
• You will have experience in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Visio, SharePoint and MS Project.
• You will be diligent in your administration and reporting approach with very strong stakeholder communication skills.
• You will be rigorous in your scope management and the ability to manage customer expectations, control change and negotiate compromise.
• Strong task and resource planning in a volatile matrix management environment.
• You will be disciplined in your prioritization, time management and scheduling abilities – multi-tasking skills are essential.
